Carrying case for cycler

Hey,
Does anyone know where I can get a rolling cases for the NxStage cycler? We travel alot (every weekend) and I don't want to have to borrow the center's travel case each time.

You can get either the soft side rolling case or the aluminum one for flying directly from NxStage. But beware, they're expensive. We really should try to find another source for the cases.

We are going to ask the dialysis center to loan us a shipping box for the upcoming cruise, but is there anything out there to rent? Would nxstage rent a case to us? This is our first experience taking the unit anywhere and of course we're worried about protecting it. Let us know if you have any alternate solutions than borrowing the shipping box.

Has anyone heard where to get a hard carrying case for the cycler? One that could go on an airplane?
If NxStage would sell it direct, does anyone know what they charge? If not, I can call them.

My center is in the process of getting one from NxStage for me to use but as with all big corporations, there is so much red tape I'm worried they won't get it in time, if at all. We leave April 3rd for Hawaii.

Gretchen, are you sitting? The cost of the case is about $700. Some who travel a lot have their own cases; others use the center's. If your center is getting one, use that. It's also unlikely others would use it at the same time. In any event, put your reservation in early.

BTW, my wife's and my anniversary is April 3rd. Can we go as your guests? How are you getting the supplies to Hawaii. I have a best friend who built a house on the Big Island. I'd like to visit him.
